When are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m.
What is your deposit policy?
To secure your reservation, a deposit equal to the first night’s stay plus taxes is required via credit card, and the remaining amount is due on the arrival day. The balance will be automatically charged to the card on file unless alternative arrangements are agreed upon.
What is your cancellation policy?
For cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival, a full refund will be issued. Cancellations that are less than 7, and more than 3 days prior to arrival, will receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, no refunds are available for cancellations within 3 days of arrival. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance.
Do you allow pets?
We recognize some guests’ desire to have their pets join them at The Sidecar Inn. Regrettably, at present, we’re unable to accommodate furry companions, including emotional support animals. This restriction doesn’t apply to trained service animals, as mandated by law. As per the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.
For guests seeking pet boarding solutions, we recommend Smoky Dog Lodge, conveniently located about ten miles away from us in Sevierville. When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, or at a time arranged upon your arrival. For early risers, a delicious to-go breakfast can be prepared with advance notice. Your personal chef, Roger, creates each meal using fresh, local ingredients, blending Southern and Appalachian cuisine with a hint of global flavors. Beverages include coffee, tea, juice, and water. To ensure the highest quality, perishable ingredients are typically purchased a day or two before your arrival.
Do you offer vegan or gluten free options?
Yes, with advance notice, usually at time of booking, we can accommodate most dietary requirements. Please call or email if necessary.
Are any other meals available besides breakfast?
No, as a State licensed Bed & Breakfast we are only able to serve one meal. We have an extensive list of restaurants in the area that we frequently patronize ourselves.
What are your property amenities?
Our property provides a range of amenities for a comfortable stay, including bath products, hairdryers, plush towels, and high quality bed linens from Comphy. Housekeeping is available every other day or upon request. Two upstairs bedrooms offer mountain views on clear days, while a ground-floor room provides convenient access. The suite, accessible by a quaint staircase from the dining room, adds a touch of elegance above the kitchen and dining area. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and select rooms offer optional full-size air beds for added convenience.
What year-round discounts do you provide?
A 10% discount on the current room rate are available for veterans (with VA ID card), and bereaved parents who are members of Alive Alone, Bereaved Parents USA, The Compassionate Friends, or other groups serving the needs of bereaved parents.
