Use these driving directions for a seamless journey to our inn.

The entrance to the driveway and parking area for The Sidecar Inn is off Old Red Lane, and not directly on Boyds Creek Highway. Many GPS applications will announce one has “arrived” in front of the Inn on Boyds Creek Highway. If using Google Maps, or other mapping apps, be sure to enable traffic reporting to find alternate routes. Below are driving directions to the Inn from various directions.

From I-40 at Exit 407, Winfield Dunn Parkway (Route 66):

Take Winfield Dunn/Route 66 approximately four miles south to the traffic light at Boyds Creek Highway. Turn right and go about 5 miles to Old Red Lane. You will cross Boyds creek on a bridge between two curves, and immediately following the Sidecar Inn will be on your right. It is white with large brick chimneys on either side. Turn right onto Old Red Lane and then take the first driveway on the right. Park and take walkway around west side to the front.

 

From downtown Knoxville:

Continue on Chapman Highway/ US-441 heading south from downtown and across the Henley Street Bridge. Go approximately 10 miles to traffic light at Old Sevierville Pike. Turn left and follow until the traffic light at the tee intersection with Boyds Creek Highway. Take another left onto Boyds Creek and continue approximately 8 miles to Old Red Lane. Turn left onto Old Red Lane and then take the first driveway on the right. The Sidecar Inn will be on your right after turning onto Old Red Lane. It is white with large brick chimneys on either side. Park and take walkway around west side to the front.

From Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg:

Take the Parkway north, following the signs to I-40. The traffic light at Boyds Creek is about 4 miles past the intersection with the Dolly Parton Parkway. Turn left onto Boyds Creek and go about 5 miles to Old Red Lane. You will cross Boyds creek on a bridge between two curves, and immediately following the Sidecar Inn will be on your right. It is white with large brick chimneys on either side. Turn right onto Old Red Lane and then take the first driveway on the right. Park and take walkway around west side to the front.

From the McGhee-Tyson Airport:

Take Alcoa Highway/US-129 North towards Knoxville for approximately 6 miles. Exit onto Gov. John Sevier Highway/TN-168 East for approximately 7 miles.  Turn left onto Norton Road and stay to the right. Norton will turn sharply right and merge into Chapman Highway/US441 South. After 3.5 miles turn left at the traffic light on to Old Sevierville Pike and proceed 3.5 miles to the traffic light at the tee intersection with Boyds Creek Highway/TN338 North. Turn left onto Boyds Creek Highway/TN338 North and go 5.3 miles to Old Red Lane. Finally, take a left onto Old Red Lane and then take the first driveway on the right. The Sidecar Inn will be on your right after turning onto Old Red Lane. It is white with large brick chimneys on either side. Park and take walkway around west side to the front.
