The 2022 Sevier County Fair opens at 5pm on Tuesday August 30th, and runs daily until 10pm on September 5th. Opening times range from 3pm to 5pm depending on the day so be sure to check the schedule. Events range widely and include competitions for various types of foods, agricultural exhibits, contests, and of course a rodeo. Beginning on the second day of the fair the carnival rides will be open. Ride tickets are $1 each and some rides will require multiple tickets.
Admission cost is $6 for ages 11 and up, except on rodeo days when the cost is $12. The rodeo days are September 3rd and 4th. Children under 11 years of age are free. Farm Bureau members receive free admission on Wednesday August 31, and buy one, get one free on all other days.
A live Butterfly Haven will be at this year’s fair. It is located near the Master Gardner Demo Garden and Greenhouse. Inside the exhibit hall will be the “Ask a Master Gardner” table where experts are available to answer your gardening questions.
