Seven Islands Birding State Park

Explore a Stunning Park in Seiverville, TN

As one of the many things to do in the Seiverville, TN area, you can explore the beauty of Seven Islands Birding State Park. Set on the opposite side of the French Broad River, this expansive park stretches across 400 acres of serene landscapes, with eight miles of inviting trails. A sought-after launch site for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boarding, the park invites water enthusiasts to explore its splendor. Originally a dairy farm, the majority of the terrain has been converted back to native flora, enchanting visitors with waterfowl, harmonious songbirds, and souring hawks. The park’s charm is further enriched by the presence of barn owls, finding haven in the rustic barns scattered across the park. The park offers educational sessions such as “Birding Basics.” For more information, see the Seven Islands Birding State Park website or the Friends of Seven Islands website. I have also written blog posts on my walks there with our dog, Kiera!
