The Sidecar Inn from the front

The Sidecar Inn

The Sidecar Inn Bed & Breakfast occupies the historic Thomas Brabson house, completed in 1854. There are four bedrooms available for guests, each with a private bath. The guest entrance is located at the front of the house, up the original stone steps, and under a Federal-style portico. A swing on one side provides a relaxing spot to read.

Guests will find much of the original woodwork, including the Tennessee red pine wide-plank flooring, handrail and trim on the front stairs, fireplace mantels, and the shiplap exterior and interior. We have furnished the inn with antique pieces as much as possible.

Homemade breakfast of waffles, bacon, banana, and berries.

Homemade Breakfasts

A full multi-course breakfast is served each morning. Most baked goods, including sourdough breads, cookies, and cinnamon rolls, are homemade.

Do you have food allergies or dietary preferences? Please let us know before your arrival. We are more than happy to accommodate vegetarians, vegans, or any food allergies.

Leaving early? To-go breakfast items can be provided with prior notice.

Coffee and tea will be available from early morning through late afternoon.

Kiera the dog in our sidecar

In addition to owning a sidecar rig, which consists of a 1995 Harley-Davidson FLHR and a 1998 Liberty Classic sidecar, we also have a dog on-site. Kiera joined us from the Sevier Animal Care Center in February 2022. She is about 7 years old and is a 50/50 mix of Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd breeds. While she usually stays in our private living area, she enjoys enthusiastically greeting our guests with a warm welcome, followed by some friendly sniffing. She is a sweet girl who adores ear scratches and belly rubs. Occasionally, Kiera even makes appearances in our newsletter.
