Here at the Inn, the sugar maples have been slowly changing into their fall colors, a spectacular assortment of reds and yellows. For the past couple of weeks I have focused on several of them along Old Red Lane. Every other day or so I have taken photos to document the slow change.

The changes were subtle at first, but became more and more noticeable.

I decided to start taking a photo each day. The lighting seemed best around mid-morning, as the sun was high enough to shine over the other trees near the front of the house.

Here is a video I took on October 20th. There was a pretty good breeze scattering leaves across the ground.
